Senior Structural Engineer

Dr. Arbarbi has extensive experience in the fields of structural behavior, analysis, stability, dynamics, and earthquake engineering of complex facilities and special structures, as well as railroad and bridge design and analysis.

He was Visiting Faculty at UC Berkeley from 1997 to 1998 and Visiting Faculty at the University of Waterloo, Canada from 1997 to 1999. He was also a tenured Professor at Michigan Technological University from 1976 to 1998. He is a published author (Structural Analysis and Behavior, McGraw-Hill, 1991) and has had some forty five papers published in technical journals and conference proceedings

Dr Arbarbi holds a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Structural Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a C.E. from the School of Bridges and Highways, Paris, France and a B.S in Civil Engineering from the Tehran Polytechnic Institute, 1965

Dr. Arbarbi has been registered with the State of California as a Professional Civil Engineer (C61125) since 1999 and is also a registered Professional Civil Engineer with the State of Michigan.
